15 Feb The Australian Photography Magazine Photographer of the Year Award

This month I was both thrilled and surprised to receive the news that I had come in the top twenty of the Australian Photography Magazine Photographer of the Year Awards for portraits.  I was just shy of the top ten by one.  Helen Whittle took out the first prize, and Photographer of the Year, for her incredibly beautiful black and white portraits.

While I certainly enjoy photographing all kinds of subjects and landscapes, the human face and form remains my favourite.
